85 - Plant and maintain an herb garden

Plant and maintain an herb garden for use in cooking

I have a black thumb. BUT about three years ago I had a really successful herb garden - rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, and marjoram. It was awesome for making pizza sauce. I halfheartedly tried again a year or so ago, but didn't do nearly as well. We miss having fresh herbs all of the time, and this is an important one for me. It encompasses local eating (grow your own!), healthy eating, and cooking. Also, I'm not allowed to grow food or flowers right now (in our townhouse), but I can grow herbs in pots on our patio without too much trouble.
